Overview
Building anticipation through motion and visual storytelling
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is Ubisoft’s action-adventure game where players can assemble a custom real-world starship, mount it to their game controller and launch into an interplanetary adventure.
The Starlink: Battle for Atlas campaign was designed to introduce players to a new universe through cinematic motion, bold visuals, and energetic promotional content. Drawing from in-game assets and the game's visual identity, the work helped generate excitement across Ubisoft's digital marketing channels while establishing a consistent and engaging brand presence leading up to launch.
Little did the growing community of fans know, we had a little surprise in store for E3… The reveal and addition of Fox McCloud, his ship the Arwing, and the rest of the Star Fox team into the game.
My Role
Bringing the game's universe to life beyond the gameplay
I led the motion design, animation, and creative execution for a series of promotional experiences supporting the game's marketing campaign. Working closely with creative teams, I transformed existing game assets into polished motion pieces that captured the scale, personality, and excitement of the Starlink universe across web and digital advertising.

Design Approach
Inspire players to explore
The creative direction focused on translating the energy and spectacle of the game into short-form visual experiences. Through cinematic pacing, dynamic motion, bold composition, and seamless transitions, each piece was designed to communicate the excitement of exploration and introduction to the game's content and cast while reinforcing the game's distinctive visual identity.
