Arkansas Valley Adventures (AVA) reached out to HYFN with a monumental task, completely revamp their websites coloradorafting.net and coloradozipline.net. Well, AVA hosts an enormous amount of incredible adventures that focus around rafting primarily, and not just in the Arkansas River Valley of Colorado, but throughout the entire state. Rafting, rock climbing, horseback riding, ziplining, and camping are just a handful of the adventures offered. A complete overhaul of the old AVA site needed to be done, starting the logo, a massive UX pass, design, motion, and booking/itineraries resulting in well over 100+ pages of unique trips and various information on the rafting site alone, fully loaded with destination and activity filters, trip finders, interactive map utilities, photo and video galleries, pricing, ratings and reviews. Both the rafting site and the zipline site used cohesive modular design elements and UI components. The entire experience was built on a custom wordpress backend for ease of updating the vast amount of offerings AVA has.
