DC Heroes United was part live-streaming and on-demand animated series and part mobile game, 'The EveryHero Project', a simulation created by Lex Luthor to test various super hero and villain abilities alike. From concept to ship in only 9 months, DC Heroes United was released on the App Store, Google Play, and Epic Games Stores.

Details

I led UI, art direction, and animation for a mobile game built in Construct 3 with a PlayFab backend. Working closely with Streamline Art, UX, game design, and engineering, we developed scalable design, art, and animation systems that would impress Lex Luthor.

To support thousands of assets, we streamlined production into a component-based pipeline with reusable animation systems, enabling efficient content creation on rails worthy of Metropolis.

Once established, this system supported a live-ops cadence delivering new maps, items, skins, and heroes weekly while powering approvals through DC and Warner Bros receiving praise from DC for our attention to every blue-eyed, golden belt buckled detail.
